A short walk today...

Mockingbird on the fence as I started out...
~
This little wren has been singing his heart out all morning in the tree next to the house. It took me awhile to spot him as he is so small, but I finally spotted him. I love hearing him.
~
Lydia waiting on me to get moving...she's pretty patient.

As you can see the wildflowers are starting to bloom.
~
Iddy Biddy my walking companion
~
And here comes Kit...
~
He looks mean but he isn't...I actually think he's glaring at Lydia.
~
The blue bonnets are up, but not ready to bloom just yet.
~
Phlox
~
Lydia waiting and watching for Kit
~
A camera shy beetle, he saw me and ducked his head into the dirt. Silly Beetle.

It rained and drizzled most of the morning and then early this afternoon the sun peeked out. I couldn't NOT go for a walk and soak up some sunshine

Nothing like a nature walk after bad weather to dispel the cabin fever blues! And you're right - that grey cat looks MEAN!!
