Not my business...

October 10, 2024 Our world is changing. Recently we’ve had our third pipeline come through, but they did not come across our property. Thank goodness. The pipeline is running along 2 fence rows on our property. The other night I noticed a neighbor’s young son riding his bike along the one fence row on the pipeline. Our cows were staring at him. The one problem was his family did not own that property, so he was trespassing. I told him that he was trespassing and he needed to stay off the pipeline, it was not a public access road. He left and rode his bike back to his families property.
I then posted to a neighborhood site on FB, the pipeline was not a public access road and if it wasn’t your property and you entered it, you were trespassing. I was lambasted by a lady. She basically told me to mind my own business. That I just needed to worry about my property and to stay inside my property lines. Then she proceeded to say that I was upset because the pipeline didn’t run across my property and I didn’t get any money. If she truly knew me she would know that I was very happy the pipeline didn’t run across our property. And that I fought to keep the pipeline off our property. I don’t know who this lady was, I don’t know what her problem was and why she attacked me online. She told me that I should not attack people who are shredding and threatened to shoot them. I was totally confused. Later I remembered an incident about six years ago regarding some new neighbors that moved out here from town. The gentleman was shredding and he wasn't shredding on his property. My husband had gone down there and told him that he had crossed his property line and was shredding on somebody else's property. He wasn't mean to the man and the man admitted he did not know where his property line was at. That was basically the end of the situation, no big deal. This lady is friends with those people. I remember when neighbors use to watch out for neighbors. we kept an eye on each other's property and if somebody was trespassing, we questioned them. It has come to a different way of living. You are not supposed to question people just let them do as they please. Trespassing is okay. Don’t tell anyone that they are doing wrong, just ignore them. There are no morals anymore, no right or wrong. You can scream at people online that you don’t know, it’s all okay. Neighbors don’t care about neighbors. It’s a mind your own business world. From now on I am minding my own business. If it’s not my property, I don’t care what anybody is doing on it. If they're stealing from those people good for them. If they are trespassing, oh well. I am done caring for other people. I am done teaching other people’s children right from wrong. It's not my business anymore…
