Grandbabies

I had to go over to the dealership Thursday morning. I knew it was going to be a long wait, it always is. This time I thought why not take the laptop and work on some digital layouts while I wait...I had a blast! It was quiet and peaceful...well that is until the family of 4 came in to the waiting room, ekk...a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old and they were wide awake and going strong, Argh!

I was laughing at I did this layout. I had downloaded a free kit and knew it had pinks in it...I know it's the new thing but I'm just not fond of pink for Christmas. But when I was working on this photo of Aubreigh the other day I knew the pinks would work with it...Sigh!! Never say Never!

The above layout I used photos of J.J., Alexandra & Carolina when they were posing near the tree...It's really hard to get 3 little ones to look at the camera at the same time, very hard :o) I finally gave up and just started snapping away!

I was doing this layout after the little Monsters came into the Dealership waiting room and I had to unplug the laptop electrical cord. Which means my laptop dimmed and I could barely see what I was doing, lol...I could probably work on it some more but I liked it...

December 17 ~ December Daily

Santa's Helper!

Michael you are so entertaining. You found your elf hat and were still able to get it on your peanut head! You had that hat for your first Christmas in 2003. Such a silly boy and I’m so glad you posed with Jake in front of the Christmas tree. Every year we’ve gotten photos of you with your elf hat, will it fit next year?

I was laughing when Michael found his elf hat and stunned when he got it on, sheesh! I asked if he'd pose with Jake in front of the tree and he agreed. Jake and him were having way too much fun.
The elf hat was part of his first Christmas outfit...I found the layout I did of his first Christmas and took photos of it...He sure was cute and still is....I love seeing how much he's grown too!

Michael's first Christmas December 25 2003.

Here he is with his stocking!

The layout I did back in 2003/2004....I've sure come along way in making scrapbook layouts! I'm almost embarrassed to show this to y'all :o) But we all have to start somewhere!

December 16 ~ December Daily

Jake!

I cheated tonight and used a quick page. I need to get to bed early and just didn't have the time to design a layout. Nice thing about QP's, they're super easy just insert photo! I had Jake pose for me today in front of the tree. He wasn't very excited about it either :o) I hope in the next day or two I can get Jake and Michael together in front of the tree!

I finally got the photos edited from Sunday. They are uploaded to flickr and if you click below you can go take a look if you'd like. There were 71 photos when I finished up and I couldn't decide which ones to post on here, sigh! I'll do some layouts here in the near future :o)
Good night and hope y'all have a good Thursday :o)

December 15 ~ December Daily

It's Holiday Time!

Michael’s school Christmas program was tonight. He did a wonderful job, all the kids did!
The name of the program was “It’s Christmas, Carol”. Aunt Diana, Uncle Larry, Zeke, Amy, Brianna, Uncle Franky, Helen and Ashley came to watch. Michael was so happy to see everyone there.

Whew! Wasn't sure I was going to get that layout done tonight! I've got video of Michael's school program and I hope to get that up tomorrow. I took photos and had Aunt Diana take videos. Thank you Diana. Of course I still have photos from Sunday to go through too, ekk...Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment...Faraway Grammy will be here in 5 days and I still haven't cleaned the house, ugh!! Hey her bed and bedding is clean, so that's a beginning...she plans on baking cookies next week and when I told Michael he was so excited! He can't wait to help Grammy, ha ha ha ho ho ho...Why they're making cookies I'll clean what I don't get done in the next 5 days!
Hope y'all have a good Weds!

December 14 ~ December Daily

Don’t let that cute little face fool you. We were in the middle of a morning “get ready for school” battle. Yep he looks innocent, he looks sweet, but seconds before he was screaming at me “I don’t want to go!” I was at the end of my rope and the camera was on the table. I reached over and grabbed it and he immediately stopped the screaming and gave me this sweet little pose, sheesh! We both started laughing. Gotta love the “bed head” hair. But it wasn’t the end of the battle, as soon as I put the camera down the battle resumed, ugh! Michael is NOT a morning person what so ever.

Jen must have been reading my mind about a bright green paper as it goes really well with Michael's shirt, Thank you Jen!
She has a new Paper Pack called Joy at her store and it's even on sale at the moment so go check it out...click here.

As to Michael I am not sure what is going on...He normally has good and bad mornings but for the past week he has been really awful in the mornings! He screams at me he hates school, ugh! He was being bullied earlier in the year and I was afraid it had started again but that doesn't seem to be the problem...I finally got it out of him this morning...He hates the work, sigh! He sure has a lot to learn about life in general. I'm hoping we me encouraging him and rewarding him for good grades we'll get through this stage and he'll learn to love the work he does...I know he loves his good grades and smiley faces!
~
I haven't had a chance to do the photos of the Grandbabies yet. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!
We haven't see the sun for 7 days and it's beginning to effect me. It tried to peek out today and I did see it for about 5 minutes through the fog and haze and then it disappeared, I'm in need of some vitamin D!

My first photo of Aubreigh Nikole...

Okay I couldn't go to bed until I posted at least one photo of Aubreigh....She's so darn tiny and so sweet! Of course she slept most of the time but it was so nice to finally hold her and see her!

Aubreigh at 13 days old!

December 13 ~ December Daily

Ho Ho Ho....Holiday Bright!

We had some visitors this afternoon/evening and I had a blast with the camera! Little J.J. was just too funny! We also got to see Aubreigh, she's so cute and precious, sigh!! It was so nice to hold her and enjoy! Kathy, Jeremy, and Kathy's daughters Caroline and Alexandra were here too...I have tons of photos and will go through them (I hope) tomorrow...Not sure how Kathy and Jeremy do it with 4 little ones as I am whipped :o)
