Green Eggs and Ham?

No Ham here as I don't like it but I do have Green eggs...

Our Americauna hens laid their first eggs today...aren't they cool, they lay green eggs!
They're tiny but in time they will get bigger.

Where is Stewart Little when you need him?

~
This boat needs a driver...

Yikes!! Run-away boat...

Egads...it's possessed, now it's coming for me!

Ahh...there's the controller!
I took Michael down to the creek this evening so he could play with the remote control boat he got for Christmas. We had a gift exchange or what Fred's Family calls a "White Elephant" Christmas and this is what Michael got...he had a blast!

The captain playing around...

Hmm...he had to take it out past the algae to keep the prop clear...and surprisingly enough he didn't get wet, good boy!
We found out, or should I say I found out it only has a range of about 25 ft, lol...I took over the controls and got it stuck on the other side of the kids pool, ekk...But after walking as close as I could and stretching as far out as I could I got the boat to move!

On our way back up from the creek I found this gorgeous Pencil/Christmas cactus. I can't help but find something in nature to take a photo of...
Michael and I had a good time at the creek playing with the boat. Michael said he's ready to go fishing too, sounds like even more fun too me :o)

I thought I'd share...

I was sitting out on the front porch watching the deer this afternoon when it struck me, why don't I share the white tail deer with y'all. So I went and got the camera. Now all you have to do is sit back and imagine your sitting on our front porch with me watching the does...

Okay so I made the mistake of whistling to get their attention. Julie (the horse) heard me and came up, thinking she was going to get a treat...

and with white tails up, they were off and running, oops!

Well some of them, the others just stood there and watched Julie.
 or watched me, ekk.

Hope you enjoyed the deer, I did. I could sit and watch them all day if that was possible

Merry Christmas digital scrapbook layout...

Christmas morning started with Michael getting up at about 7:30am. I heard him and followed him out to the goodies left by Santa. He was excited but I think rather disappointed as there wasn’t much there. He didn’t realize what the kinect was either, when I explained to him what it was he was very excited. I let him dig into his stocking before waking Daddy and Grammy. He was bursting to see what the gifts were under the tree. Finally Daddy, Michael, Grammy and I sat down near the tree to open gifts. Michael sorted the presents and felt bad that me (Momma) didn’t have but one gift. I reminded him that I had gotten a new camera. I loved the that he thought about me in all his excitement. He got a Lego Space Shuttle, over 1,000 pieces and loved it. Michael also got a Season pass to Splashway water park. Daddy got some Dallas Cowboy footies and a game camera. Grammy got a hand-made basket and lots of other goodies. I love seeing that sparkle in Michael’s eyes Christmas morning. A true Merry Christmas!
