Michael is once again playing with his guitar and I am the one that gets to listen to all his wonderful (cough,cough) songs...

My Mother sent this to me in an email with a bunch of signs and I almost peed my pants...Boy could I use this some days!!
This morning while Fred and I were loading up the Hog trap Fred spotted a turtle in the driveway...I jumped out and grabbed it and threw it in the back of the truck to share with Michael later...
Michael was so tickled to see the turtle and immediately said "Hello Little Fellow"...it was so sweet!
Little Fellow was playing shy though and wouldn't come out and say Hello!
Michael was hoping the "Little Fellow" might want to eat some grass...
But the grass didn't tempt him so Michael finally decided to sit back and wait...and wait...and wait some more!
Still waiting...
Michael finally gave up and went back in the house...In the mean time I was a bit tired of waiting too so I decided to flip him for a second and get a photo of the pattern on the underside of his shell...I think he might be a Western Pond turtle but I'm not sure...the reference book wasn't real clear on their turtle identification...
Finally he stuck his head out...
And after a few more minutes he was on the run...

Violet Wood Sorrel (above) are popping out all over in my flower beds. I had to stop Mom from pulling them out this past spring as she thought they were clover. See Mom they are not clover and they have a beautiful delicate bloom...
Water droplets on grass...yes we do have grass and it looks like I actually get to mow the GRASS this week!! YeeHaw! (Ugh, I'm joking and not looking forward to mowing, lol)

Here's a photo of the back of the rig and Fred working...I was annoying Fred by taking photos and asking questions...I've heard him talk about these items; Re-heading, Bobbitt, weight bar, lubricator, Blow out preventer but never actually knew what these items were...I do now, but don't give me a quiz, lol...I'd probably fail miserably...But I do love knowing what my husband is doing and how it works...we can never stop learning!!
I just love Warning signs...and how different companies word them! Another words if your an idiot and you don't know what the heck your doing don't do it!! Doesn't that apply to most everything? As to the mind altering substances we won't even go there...But isn't everything in life mind altering?
Oh how I remember the fun I had with them as a girl and I called Michael over...he's seen them before but it's been a looong time ago...
I showed him how to catch them without hurting them and he gave it a try...He was having so much fun!

Then he was trying different tactics to catch them...Like scooping up the mud they are lying on...lol...Oh what fun..Mud, Mud, Mud!
I was standing back watching him...just wondering when he was going to fall in...sigh!
He was having so much fun and very intent on finding ways to get to the tadpoles...except his board floated away, uh oh!! And I'm not sure how but he didn't fall in either...Maybe because I told him several time if he wanted to go to lunch later on he'd best NOT get muddy!!
We spotted this frog on a window Friday night...he was so cool. Michael had a great time watching him catch bugs and looking at the bottom of his feet through the glass.
Early Saturday morning I spotted the cow and calf in the pasture...Seems the babe had an itch...give him a few days and he is going to have a lot of itches as the mosquito's will be out...It's hard to believe it's been over a year since we've even seen a mosquito! I honestly don't miss them!
I took this photo Friday when it was raining...It seems every feeding hole on the large hummingbird feeder was taken and hummers were waiting...
And this is a Millipede and he scared me half to death...sheesh. I went outside late one night and just happen to glance over and saw him, I thought it was a snake at first, ewwwwwwwww!! Well of course I had to go grab the camera...

Off would go our electricity. Our Electric Coop guys would come out and search and search but had problems locating the problem...Saturday morning it once again went off and they spent most of the day clearing brush...Not fun when it's wet and there is 150 acres to walk and check...But so far so good...
