Outside my back door...

I happen to look out the back door this morning and saw Split ear with her fawns and the rest of her clan...

The fawns are getting bit and starting to lose their spots

There were 8 of them this morning

6pt watching me

I love watching the deer in the morning...

Weds. photos...

I never know what I will find...

Giant water bugs in the pool skimmer. I don't find them often and normally when I do it's after a heavy rain but they always creep me out, they are Huge!
We received 2 inches of rain the first part of this week...Not enough to put some water in the creek but enough to start the grass growing. When I went down to the creek the other day there were two large puddles and a few spotted gar in each puddle. All the other fish seemed to be gone except for those gar. Sure wish the creek would start flowing again hate to see the fish die.

Here comes the bus! I so remember riding the bus to school. So far Michael likes it.

The happenings around here this morning...

Seems everyone is awake and moving outside this morning...

The butterflies were busy fluttering around the Mexican Fire Bush. They wouldn't even stop for a photo, sigh...

The hummingbirds were extremely busy feeding at the feeder...not even they would stop and pose!

Split ear was watching me. I am sure she was wondering if I was going to throw some feed out for her...Or possibly she was waiting for me to disappear back into the house so she could snitch some of the chickens feed...

We had a visit from the "grouchies" this morning. By the time the bus arrived I'd pretty much got someone (no names mentioned) to smile and give me a hug. Hopefully those grouchies won't return tomorrow, makes for a rough morning!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Good Morning!
