Not a 100%...

I'm still not a 100% with the bronchitis but I can eat now and that's a good thing. Being sick really sucks, especially at Halloween.

I worked on putting the finishing touches on my Halloween costume tonight and had Michael take some photos of me. Not sure I'll be up to wearing it but it's done and Michael loves it!

On another note....

We'll be saying good-bye to Bob the rooster tomorrow. He's a good rooster and so much fun to watch. One of the teachers from the school is taking him for her flock of chickens. Out of the young Ameracauna chickens, 7 out of the 10 are roosters. Which is just awful, we really wanted more hens. I honestly believe the breeder cheated us on those as you can check them when they're a day old and see what sex they are, live and learn. We'll be keeping two of those roosters I just haven't decided which ones as of yet.

School Fall Festival ~ October 23 2010

Last Saturday we went to Michael's School for the Fall Festival. It is so much fun and the kids absolutely love it!

There is so much for the kids to do, lots and lots of game booths.

And later for the adults they have a live auction. We always stay and come home with lots and lots of goodies. Each of the different classes puts together a basket with a theme and then they go to the highest bidder. Fred wanted the Movie Night Basket and won the bid, yea!

And of course lets not forget the cake decorating contest. The cake above was my favorite!

Michael came in 2nd place with his cake, woohoo! They then auction off the winners to the highest bidder. We got Michael's cake back for $65, gulp! It's in the freezer waiting on Far away Grammy :o)

We had a great time and the School PTO does a GREAT job with the fall festival.
