Major Catastrophe

UH OH!!

The old tv in the computer room went out...Yikes!!

It's awful....Frightful, appalling...it's just not fair!!

(Wendy is silently chuckling, lol)

I moved the itty bitty 13 inch tv in here but the boys are fighting over the TV in the living room!!

I think it is going to be a VERY LONG weekend!!

I met my match...

This morning Michael and I went to the park in Goliad. It was time to get out of the house for a bit and it's a beautiful shaded park. I also wanted to get photos of Michael as he is soon to turn 6 yrs old!

In between taking photos of him I was watching these lizards and let me tell you they are shy and they are fast....

Seee whoosh there he goes....

I stayed way back and took this one with the telephoto...lol...It's a whiptail. He was watching me too...There were quiet a few running around but they wanted nothing to do with me!!

I found some yucca blooms...at least I think it was a yucca plant...I loved the softness of the photo...

I'm working on Michael's photos. I got so many good photos it is really hard to decide...I deleted over 100 and have about 70 more to go through...

Here's a couple that I took inside the slide...I love the smile, laugh and dirty knees...All boy!! Oh yes and lets not forget the sweat dripping off him!!

I think Michael and I are suffering from cabin fever...We were getting on each others nerves so I grabbed the Rebel and went outside just before the sun set.....

He came back...

I have a little baby anole lizard in my flower bed. He's so darn tiny and so darn cute. I hadn't seen him for a few days and thought the chickens had gotten him...To my surprise he was out there this evening!! I changed out lens and put the Macro lens on....

How Hot is it?

Tuesday at 6pm I looked at the thermometer (which is in the shade) and it said 103 degrees F. OUCH!!!

I had turned the back yard water tap on and let it run for a bit as the chickens love laying in the cool dirt, I mean wet dirt, it's certainly NOT cool...after I came back inside an hour later I looked out and they were still laying there, lol...It was too Hot for the girls!!

Poor Julie has no grass what so ever in the pasture to eat so I let her in the yard for a bit. There isn't much grass left but she found a little bit and seemed happy with that.

Michael won't even go outside, he detests the heat!

It was breezy today and that was nice! If the wind hadn't been blowing I hate to see what the temp. would have gone up too...Yikes!!

I am thankful we have central air and ceiling fans as the house, inside, is really quiet nice :o)

Hopefully one more month to go and we'll start cooling off and maybe, just maybe we'll get some rain too!!

I completely forgot I had Circus photos to do, duh me!!

This page is extremely busy but how can you just scrap one photo of the circus? It's a busy place and needed a busy layout to justify it!! Michael sat on me while I was putting it together and loved it!! So nice to have help, lol....I love the fact that he takes an interest in my art work!

I know I am probably boring all the nature lovers out there but it's just too darn hot and dry to take nature photos. Hopefully another month and things will begin to cool down a bit and maybe just maybe we'll get some rain!! I'm starting to have camera withdrawls, lol....

We spent Mothers day at the beach on Mustand Island.

This was a digi layout I created of our day together. I took an extraction class at JessicaSprague.com and this was the layout we worked on...It took me a whole week and lots and lots of layers. But I learned quiet a bit and love the finished product!

Then I took another photo I had of clouds and added my extracted Navy jet to it...I still need to work on this a bit but I see a lot of improvement and I am having so MUCH fun playing around with photos!!

Michael liked it, lol...that is all that matters!!
