Sunday, when I was frustrated with Fred and him cultivating a spot for a garden, I decided it was time for some photo therapy and I went for a walk to see what was blooming...

Upon our arrival to the property and well house I spotted this Pipevine Swallow tail butterfly which had just recently come out of it's crysalis and was drying it's wings, cool!

BladderPod

I was unable to find this in the (5) wildflower books I have. It is growing in a swampy (when it rains it is swampy) area and has leaves at the bottom of the stem and along the ground like a wandering jew plant...

I'll attempt to name the wildflowers (as I like to know what they are), some are easy and others not so easy to figure out what they are. I may not always be correct or it may have a more than one name, so please forgive me for any mistakes. I am human and do the best I can. Every week/day I am seeing new wildflowers come up. I'm seeing lots of bluebonnet plants and can hardly wait for the blooms...gotta love Texas in Springtime!
