A little tree trimming...
We have been having problems with our satellite dish the past 3 months. It honestly doesn't bug me other than we haven't been able to get our local channels out of San Antonio and I like to watch the weather every once in awhile! But Fred is having a fit because his Cowboys are fixing to start playing and he wants to watch the games. So this morning Fred's nephew came over and trimmed the tree for us and helped me clean up all the branches...We were hoping that would solve the problem. It didn't! But we know that some of the branches were growing and in the way of the satellite signal and they are out of the way now. Tomorrow the company is sending someone out to check out our dish and see what the problem is...
Andy checking things out...
He couldn't reach the branches he needed to with the man lift so he climbed into the tree, argh!! He's crazy!!
Michael got his haircut yesterday, he got a military cut and I'm still trying to get use to it. Michael loves it!
Andy finishing up...I'm so glad he came over to help as I'm not sure I would have been able to trim the tree. In fact I know I wouldn't have been able to do it and I'm very thankful Andy was here!
Hop a long...
This is our young rooster.
The only rooster out of the 14 chicks we bought this past March, not too bad. There are times we've bought chicks and ended up with 6 roosters out of 10 chicks. He's a beaut and I'm not sure but I think he's a Lakenvelder. A breed I've never had before. We named him 'Hop a long' because he has a limp after him and the older rooster had it out...The Older rooster won and Hop a long stays with the young hens and out of the Old roosters way!

What's happening...
Michael is at his friends (Colby and Zac) for a day or two or how ever long Kelly can put up with 5 boys at one time, yikes! He had a rough time right before bedtime but thankfully I can calm him down on the phone and after a bit of nerves and a sick stomach he was okay. Kelly is an awesome Mom and she is my angel. I've been with Michael 24/7 since school got out and it was time we both had a break from each other. From what I hear this morning the boys are up and playing Xbox and all is right with the world...
My plans include trimming trees and mowing. Who knows what will capture my attention and the camera's today. It is South Texas and there are always surprises around each corner.
Here's hoping y'all have a glorious day and that where ever you are a bit of sunshine will be part of your day!!
