The new Rooster...

After careful deliberation for weeks the new rooster has been chosen....

Meet Marble! Isn't he gorgeous?

He reminds me of a marble counter top so Marble is his name.

Hopefully I made a good choice and he'll take good care of the ladies.

I hope to get rid of 4 roosters this week. I'm going to keep another one too.

I'm still not sure about the hens from the ameracauna batch so I'm hanging on to those until I can be positive...

I'm thinking all together we'll have 11 hens and 2 roosters...time will tell.

I don't know about you but I've been missing...

I just searched my books and the web to identify the caterpillar above and no luck!

I'm thinking it will be a butterfly, it sure is gorgeous. Michael and I collected about 5 of them and have them in a bug keeper. We shall just have to wait and see what it is.

I needed some Macro therapy today and slowly made my way around the yard looking for critters. Monday it's back to the urologist and hopefully he'll blast these darl'in kidney stones into space, so tired of hurting!

I want to swim!!!!

Seriously my son right at this minute is in his room throwing a fit because he wants to go swimming!!

I've told him NO!

The tank fell over and has dirty/nasty water in it and the sun is about to set and I am NOT getting the tank ready for him to swim in, sheesh!!
He sure is bullheaded and stubborn!! I wonder who he gets that from?

Just what I needed this morning....too sweet!

Trick or Treat...how about neither.

I missed Halloween this year. First Halloween I've ever missed. Michael went with friends and I didn't even get a photo of him or of his trick or treating antics, sigh!

I'm in the Hospital at the moment, Checked in on Sunday due to kidney stones. I was visiting the ER early Saturday morning but was sent home. The pain increased and here I sit. I'm hoping I can get Michael to dress up for me again so I can get some photos of him in his costume. I doubt very seriously you'll be shocked when you see what he was, lol...It's something he loves!

I had surgery today and had stints placed in the tubes leading from my kidneys to the bladder but the kidney stones still have not made an appearance. I'm hoping I get to go home tomorrow, fingers crossed and praying hard.

I sure Hope November is a better month :o)
