Today is my sisters Birthday but since I'm 1500 miles from her I couldn't celebrate it with her...Happy Birthday Karen...Instead I spent it with a few of my favorite Men/Boys.
Michael requested a scope for his BB gun and since his Daddy is a sucker for Michael's tears Michael got one, sigh! So we went over to Dad's to try it out and sight it in...

Michael found this bug just before we left. It was rainbow colored and gorgeous but it was darting all over the place. I had a hard time getting a photo of it but finally managed a couple....Some type of beetle and a very fast beetle too. Michael called it a rainbow beetle, lol.
Burt's eye...don't see any tears but I think he misses his ladies! We definitely don't miss him. He's over to Dads and we won't say what will happen to Burt but chicken nuggets were mentioned, ekk.
Michael spent a hour outside this evening playing by himself. He said when the chickens came around he would get jumpy as he had a hard time believing Burt was gone, lol...Poor thing, traumatized by a rooster!
Dad was using the weed-eater and Fred was mowing...We didn't have time to do the whole yard but we got some done. Need to get over there earlier next time. I so look forward to our Sundays with Dad and so glad we get to spend this time with him!
So many photos and so many ideas, now to put them into Digital Scrapbook layouts!
