What to do when you are stuck in a...

Dealerships cramped waiting room....You take photos!!
Now did you even need me to tell you! LOL...
We set at the dealership this morning while they did a bit of detail work to the "Beast", 3 hours of waiting to be exact...Thank goodness for Cameras!
Michaels eyes were brown today, does that mean he was full of you know what? lol...His eyes change from green to brown...and I think it is cool!

He's my sweet little sunshine and I love that smile!

There it is again...Now the reason for the smile he was playing with the video and camera on my mobile phone...ugh!! I haven't had time to hook the mobile phone up to the computer yet but I will just to see his photos! Yikes!! Maybe I don't want to see them, lol!!

Uh Oh "It's the look!" He's concentrating hard, very hard!!

At&t should pay me for this photo and bit of advertisement, lol....so easy even a child can use it!

Everytime I see this photo I laugh...he takes his photography skills so seriously!!

And just a hint of a smile...can you believe this little guy is almost 5 and starting school, ugh!! Time to change the subject before I get teary eyed....

Summer Reading Program Celebration

On Weds. our library had their end of summer reading program Celebration!
Our little group got there early and got front row seats, YEA!!

The Entertainment was by Joe McDermott! He did a fantastic job and we all enjoyed the show!

Here is his website, click here.

Ugh! My son got a bit bored with one of the songs and turned his back to the stage and started making faces, Ekk....

Afterwards we all went to lunch and then to the Park!! I some how got them all on one of the toys at the park and got a photo of all 10 kids at one time, YEA!! Now don't ask me to name them either, lol...(just kidding)...I know all their names!! They are all wonderful terrific kids and seem to get a long fairly well...

What a fantastic summer we all had!! One for the memory books for sure!!

Another evening at the property...

I was down at the property this evening and took a few photos! Nothing fantastic but thought I would share my evening with y'all.
I was sitting in the middle of the gravel bed next to the kids pool and I thought what is that brown spot way down there...I couldn't see it real well with the naked eye and honestly thought it was a freshly uprooted tree...So I zoomed in with the telephoto lens and lo and behold it was a deer that had come down to drink from the creek...cool! I am surprised she came down there as she had to have seen me...but guess not! I love sitting in the woods quietly and just watching to see what there is out and about.

I got bored, lol...can you tell? I found these flowers and started taking photos!

Then I spotted these "blister beetles", lol...

That is about it...I did have a doe with fawns sneak up on me and give me a fright!! I never had time to swing the camera around, as soon as I stood up they were off...it was peaceful and I enjoyed myself.

Finally...

Home! We are home...Husband is done for the day! Yea!
I am off to the property to see who is dining on the Feral hog...
Okay so I arrive to find hundreds of vultures dining on the Feral hog but upon arrival I scare the vultures off, Oops!! So I sit on the tailgate of the "Beast" and wait, and wait, and wait...But then I see a...

Dragonfly in the grass, cool...he's pretty and Green!

Then I see the mesquite tree I am sitting under dripping sap...sweet! Not really sweet but sweet to look at and of course take a picture of...

Then an ohh so pretty flower...lets play with that aperture again, lol...notice the blurry background!!

But oh wait...look who has come back for dinner....it's a

Turkey vulture and as my husband says "Darn Buzzard!"

But he doesn't stay long as I guess I am sitting too close to their dinner!

Now if you look closely (or click on photo and bring it up bigger)...you see all those dark spots...it's not dust on my camera sensor or spots on my lens but hundreds of vultures circling in the sky waiting and waiting for me to leave, lol...I sure do know that waiting feeling today...Hey just think I can relate to vultures, cool!! (snort-snort)

I am just hoping those vultures will not see me as a threat and I continue to wait...but then oh wow I see another photo opportunity...more pretty flowers...and I just have to play with that aperture thingy again, lol...

And then I see another flower all by it's lonesome...I just can't help myself!

And then oh my I see something blue...or as Michael would say "I spy"...ugh...its the....

"BEAST"!!

I finally gave up on the vultures and headed home...with it being 101 F. out I was Hot and plumb wore out...it's been a long day!
