Boo!

Grammy you are GREAT!! He loves his costume and the mask he bought in Walgreens goes perfectly!! Thank you...and to everyone else let me introduce "The SCARY Clown"...Yep that is what Michael wanted to be for Halloween...And Grammy did a great job sewing the costume!!

I used the flash and got red eye which I thought made the photo!!

We got his clown hat out and TaDaaa!! Grrrrrrrrrrr it's Michael the scary clown...lol...He got the idea from a Scooby Doo show!

And since Michael got all A's on his 4 1/2 week progress report and 100% on all his accelerated reading test so far this year. Plus he also had one straight face and the rest of the days were happy faces for the month, Yeah!! A lot different from last year!! I took him to Target to pick out a toy...he loves the toys at Target...we spent over an hour looking at everything before he could decide...He picked out a replica of a Abrams Tank and a Play dough kit and I got the pleasure of helping to make hamburgers, fries and potato chips...and then Master Chef Michael served me dinner, LOL....Mmmmm Yummy!

Hope Y'all have a GREAT weekend :o)

Hey Little Girl

~

Little girl you are so happy! Thank God you had a solid foundation to start your life off with; you will need that later to look back on. If you knew what was to happen later in your life you might just go hide. But I’m going to tell you that you will get through those rough patches and happiness will once again find you. You will have 4 women in your life that will be a great influence; they will tell you to be strong! They will teach you and set examples that you will learn from. You will be taught right from wrong and you will do your best to do the right thing. Stand strong and go with your gut instincts. God will be there for you, keep your faith. You always wished for a good husband and a child from the time you were very small. It was your secret wish and you never told a soul. As you grow you will wonder if your wish will ever come true; it will. I promise you. Have faith. Your husband will be kind and caring. He will offer you security and love. You will have a beautiful child. They will be your life and bring you so much joy! For all that you will experience it will make you stronger and you will succeed. God bless you little one!

On another note we need some prayers for Jeremy's girlfriend, Kathy. She is pregnant and due in December but at the moment she is in the hospital with a 104 degree temp. They aren't sure if it is the flu yet or not. Please keep her, the baby and whole family in your prayers.

I love what you say...

~

I had to interview you for a typography class I am taking. You were moaning and groaning about the questions. In fact most of the answers you gave me were Dallas Cowboys. You are a big fan and they had a game that night and I think that is all you had on your mind. Until I got to the question of “What do you want to remember for the rest of your life?” Your response was “Don’t ever shoot a BB gun down a hole unless you know what’s in it!” You proceeded to tell me about an incident you had with your Cousin Zekey. Where y’all shot a BB gun down a hole and got sprayed by a skunk. That was pretty much the end of the interview as we were both laughing too hard to finish. I love hearing stories of your childhood, Thank you for sharing your life with me!

Photos from this past weekend...

After Fred's little Mishap Saturday night and trip to the ER I left him alone Sunday morning and let him sleep in a bit...Oh and we found out the brisket marinade was the culprit for the clam sauce...Never heard of marinading Brisket in Marinara sauce...I hope it doesn't happen again! Fred does love his Brisket!
~
When Fred finally got up we ate breakfast and headed over to Mom and Dad's ranch for a visit and to see if they needed any help....

~

Mom's roses were beautiful and the aroma was intoxicating...You could smell these pink roses from 2oft away....

Then Dad took Michael and I out to look at a Wild Sow he had caught...She was HUGE and she was MEAN!!

~
I spotted this spider web on the Big Old Oak tree out front...The sun was hitting it just right and I was hoping to catch the colors but I didn't do a very good job!

~
I spotted these wildflowers in the grass...
~
As we were getting ready to leave I captured Grandma and Michael in a Hug!

~

For the past week the flowers in the yard have been absolutely gorgeous...It seems like the pink crepe myrtle just glows...I wanted to capture all the bright beautiful colors! The beautiful blue sky, white fluffy clouds, the glowing pink crepe myrtle and the bright yellow wild mums...

I was also playing with the Macro lens and the depth of field.

It's amazing what a little rain will do!!

~

I also saw from the photos I really need to clean my Macro lens, lol.

A story?

Raquel's BIRTH-day layout

~

We finally got a correct spelling on Requel's middle name, Yea! Now I'll have to wait to talk to her Mother who is from Mexico on how to pronounce it...I asked for her measurements but still haven't received those either, sigh! But I like the scrap page.

The sun is breaking day! It’s time to get up, time to start moving, time to wake my little Man. Turning the stereo on and listening to ZZ top, dancing around the house, motivation to get moving! Momma pleading with Michael to hurry up or we are going to be late. Do I have enough time to play Momma? While he strums his guitar. Mamma responding if you hurry! Put your shoes on! Momma constantly urging him, pushing him, we need to go Michael. This all ends at the school parking lot with a Gigantic Kiss and Hug and a sweet I love you from my boy as he walks off to his class. Whew the day has begun!
~
Another layout for my J.Sprague class Typewriter I...whew!! This was actually our Friday assignment but I just couldn't get my mind into the journaling, sigh!! I finally did this evening and managed to get the layout finished too!! YEA!! I'm caught up until tomorrow's assignment, which is interviewing someone, Ekk...Now I wonder if Jake will be up to an interview, lol...As it will just be me, him and kit hanging out here at the house...anyone speak dog?
~
P.S. On another note Fred is doing great! The swelling is down and he seems to be sleeping much better tonight...last night he tossed and turned all night long, ugh!! I bet he's real leery about eating BBQ sauce now, lol...
