A little of this and that this evening...

 

I was bored....so I grabbed the cameras!

 

I used the old Camera with the 85mm lens to snap a few photos of the Christmas tree. I liked the way the evening sunlight was hitting this butterfly...

And my Clydesdale horse ornament!

 

Then I went outside to feed with the new Camera...

Me so sooo hungry, please feed me!!

She can lay it on pretty thick!

 

 

And she can throw a fit when she wants too!!

It has arrived...

 

I was in town running errands this morning when I got the call!! Michael's bow had come in...I was so excited and ready to burst but didn't tell him. He was distracted when we pulled up to the Archery store. I told him I had a surprise for him and when he looked up and saw where we were he was out of the jeep and had my door open before I even had the jeep shut off...He was over the Hill EXCITED!!!

 

 

This is one Happy boy and I was loving that grin, ear to ear grin!!

 

 

 

They worked with him for a bit and got him all set up! We'll be going back a couple times a week so he can practice and they can help him!

 

 

 

We got home and he had to go out and practice some more. It's so hard for him to control himself. But he learned from practicing a month ago that he needs to take it easy for the first couple of weeks. He was pretty sore the next day after just practicing for 15 minutes last time. Gotta build up those muscles!!

Love that smile...

 

He's hoping by next October he's ready to deer hunt!!

 

I hope and pray he really gets into Archery and truly enjoys it!!

Yes Michael is taking up Archery...We had to order his bow but it will be here soon!! He's excited and can hardly wait...In the mean time we got him some accessories! He's already been practicing with a borrowed bow at a local store and archery range and did an awesome job!

 

 

It's a lens mug, too funny!!

Both of my closest friends got me the lens mug this year and I love it!!

 

 

 

He's one very happy boy!!

 

And as always...Feed me! Feed me!!

 

 

Then we head over to Mom in laws...She has oranges!

This man says he doesn't like to drive all the time but you could of fooled me, he's always on the road...He just can't sit home, gotta go go go!!

 

I didn't make it out to feed the deer until after lunch...They were waiting!!

I also want to keep all the people that work on Christmas in my prayers...Military personnel, Police, Fire and Ambulance workers, Nurses and Doctors, Oilfield Men and Woman so we can have fuel to run our vehicles and heat to heat our house, Electric Linemen that are working on getting electricity back to those who lost it in the recent storms...and the many more that make our lives easier and run smoother...Merry Christmas and God Bless!!

What is on my memory card...

 

I just happen to have a few photos of what's going on around here....

 

 

The moon last week. It had a beautiful moon bow around it but I didn't manage to capture it. We were heading to the bus stop when I spotted the moon shrouded in fog and with a moon bow around it, I only had a few seconds to mess with the camera...

 

 

Ugh, red dust from Mexico is all over everything. It blew in with the first front we had the other day and there wasn't enough rain to wash it away. Everything is covered in red dust.

 

Michael on a mission...

Seems Daddy forget to put the tail gate up on his truck this morning and lost his cooler, oops!! Michael checked the driveway and didn't find it, uh oh!!
