A challenge by Jen Maddocks...

~

Digital Layout from our trip to the Rocky Creek Corn Maze on Oct. 16 2010
~
Jen Maddocks is a designer over at Scrapable and she is doing a scraplift challenge this month. I thought I'd give it a try...I haven't been able to upload my layout to the challenge forum at scrapable, seems I haven't been approved by an administrator but I can share it with y'all. I'm not a forum kind of girl and always have problems with uploading photos and such to forums, sorry Jen.
You can check out Jen's blog and information on the challenge by clicking here.

The one and Only...

I don't know why KitCat always looks Ornery and Mean when I take photos of him...He has the biggest heart and is so tolerant of just about everything (except for Lydia, he's about had enough of her), he's our sweetheart.

New Grandson...

Yesterday, Fred's daughter, Erica and fiance Ray added another little Grandson to our growing family.
I was in the Hospital but different one than she was so I have no photos (booHoo) and I can't drive at the moment so not sure when I will get some photos. Erica has sent me some photos through my cellphone but I haven't been able to get the photo on my computer as of yet...

Proud Marine

~

Your Uncle Larry gave you a new Marine cap after your Veterans Day Program at your school. Your Uncle Larry is a Marine veteran and you are always so proud of that fact.
Today you started off being the serious
Marine. And then being 7 yrs old you got a bit silly. Silly Marine or not. We are still proud of you and whatever you decide to be when you've grown up.

Technology ~ Kindle (e-book)

~

After becoming discouraged with our local library and studying e-books for months. I finally took the plunge and bought a kindle e-book from Amazon. I was a bit worried but I wasn't disappointed. It's been the best technology purchase, other than my camera, I've made. Michael loves it too. There are so many books that are available. I don't think we'll run out of reading material anytime soon. October 2010

Blast away....

Lithotripsy tomorrow...
They're going to blast my bothersome kidney stone into pieces!!
I am praying this works and I can get back to normal...or what I call normal :o)
Toodles ♥
November 11 2010 update:
The Lithotripsy worked and the stone was shattered. Stent comes out Monday and with a little time to heal and recoup I'll be back to normal...well as normal as I can get :o)
Thank you for your prayers and good wishes!
