Today's nature photos...

I managed to sneak away today while the boys were having a Nerf gun war in the house and thank goodness it had finally stopped raining. We had our first thunderstorms last night in a long long time and I didn't sleep well but it was nice to receive 1.4 inches of rain. Everything is turning green, green, green...

Possibly a Pine Siskin but I'm not sure on that?

The deer didn't come up until late today, maybe because of the cold gale force wind blowing this evening?

Boy! That wind sure did whistle here this afternoon but the rain was nice earlier. Your birds are so pretty. We do have a cardinal or two but other then that they aren't so pretty. I still feed them though. They may not think I'm pretty either. lol

How fun you are thankful for a rain and I have it enough already! After several months of everyday raining I'm seriously done with it... Gorgeous photos as always, Wendy.

These are wonderful...glad you got enough of a break in the weather to get out and shoot. Hopefully we'll have more good shooting weather soon.
